How long can a resident stay?

House of Grace is a short-term (12 month) transition house for women recently released from incarceration. A longer term of residency is negotiable on anniversary date if staff and resident agree to the need.


Is there a wait list?

Applications will be reviewed in the order they are received and all applicants will receive communication of availability from management.


Do residents pay rent?

You will be required to pay rent of $150/week while living here. Failure to pay rent on a regular basis may result in discharge. Rent is due weekly and is nonrefundable.


Can residents bring personal belongings?

Residents are only able to bring two bags (approximately the size of regular kitchen garbage bags) of clothing and personal toiletries into the house. Residents are encouraged to bring enough clothing for about 2 weeks. House of Grace is not able to accommodate any personal furniture or electronics, with the exception of cell phones, iPods/MP3 players, and clock radios in the house.


Are visitors permitted?

Visitors are not permitted at House of Grace, except as pre-approved by the House of Grace Manager and probation officer.


Is mail permitted?

Mail is handed out by the House Manager. Outgoing mail can be put in the mail box. All mail coming in must be addressed to: House of Grace (Resident Initials), 7310 W. CAMELBACK RD, GLENDALE, AZ 85303. No mail will be held after discharge.
